To encourage the community to submit more quality proposals and create an attractive program agenda together, the MSG is now organizing a webinar on 14 Mar (Wed) 04:00 - 05:00 UTC. The webinar aims to provide guidance on how to construct a good workshop proposals, outline any engagement opportunities and foster community discussions on any collaborations on workshops. The interactive webinar will provide a chance for participants to raise any questions to our Program Committee & Fellowship Committee.

The Program Committee is now calling for the Asia Pacific community to submit workshop proposals with the overarching theme of Empowering Communities in Asia Pacific to Build an Affordable, Inclusive, Open and Secure Internet. The deadline is 18 March, 24:00UTC (Sunday) extended to 2 Apr, 24:00 UTC (Monday).
Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) serves as a platform for discussion, exchange and collaboration at a regional level, and also where possible to aggregate national IGF discussions, ultimately advance the Internet governance development in the Asia Pacific region.
The Multi-Stakeholder Steering Group (MSG) of APrIGF is a self-organised committee with members from around the AP Internet Community formed with shared objectives.
APrIGF has been held in different countries and regions. Previous hosting cities include Hong Kong in 2010, followed by Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Delhi, Macao and most recently Taipei in 2016.
